Plain Paint is an iPad drawing app made for rough work. It's for putting a line down the moment you think of it. No layers, no opacity. You draw straight onto a single sheet. Line width is picked from the steps each tool offers, and it doesn't change with pressure. The line comes out even. On screen there are the tools, the colors, and the canvas. Nothing else. Two-finger tap to undo, three-finger tap to redo. Two fingers to zoom, rotate and pan. Touch and hold to pick up a color right where you are. Works with Apple Pencil and with your finger. Whether your finger draws is a setting you can turn off. Your drawings are kept automatically, and you can export them to Photos. A one-time purchase. No in-app purchases, no ads, no account. This is not a replacement for a full paint program. It's for the step before that, when you just need to get the line down.
