Outfit Sourced: Clothes Finder app analytics for September 14

Sourced names every piece in a photograph of an outfit and shows you where each one sells. Photograph it yourself, or share a screenshot straight from TikTok, Instagram or Pinterest. The top, the trousers, the bag, the shoes — each read off the photograph, numbered on it, and listed underneath with an estimated price range. IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT DOESN'T KNOW Most apps like this guess a brand. Guessing is easy, and it is why you end up buying the wrong thing. Sourced fills in a brand only when the logo is actually readable in the photo. Everywhere else it says so plainly, and matches on what the garment is — colour, cut, fabric, pattern. PRICES ARE MARKED AS ESTIMATES, BECAUSE THEY ARE A range for what an item like that usually sells for. Never a made-up price tag on a garment nobody has looked up. When Sourced finds the real product page, it quotes the shop's own price and says where it came from. FIX IT WHEN IT'S WRONG Sourced shows you the exact phrase it is about to search. Three words off? Change them, and every shop below searches the corrected phrase. WATCH A PRICE Tap WATCH on any shop and Sourced reads that page every few hours. It tells you when the published price falls, or when something comes back in stock. It never converts a currency and never compares a price it read one way with one it read another. SECOND-HAND IS ALWAYS IN THE LIST The same piece is often on Vinted or eBay for a third of retail. An app that only sent you to full-price retail would be working for the shops. SHARE THE CREDITS Every look becomes one image — the photo with each piece marked and named, like the credit line under a magazine photograph. Send it to whoever asked.
