Altura turns the hikes you already record with your Apple Watch into something worth keeping: a map of the day drawn in paper and ink, with your photos, your heart rate and the exact moment it got hard. There is nothing to set up. Open Altura and it reads your hiking workouts from Apple Health, draws each route over hand-styled contour lines, finds the photos you took along the way and places them on the map, and names the day after the places you walked through. Every hike becomes a memory you can revisit and share. WHAT ALTURA DOES FOR YOU • Your library. Every hike from Apple Health, newest first, with distance, elevation gain and photos. Smart filters group them by year, area, length, season or difficulty. • The map of the day. Replay the route minute by minute: the line draws itself, your photos appear where you took them, and altitude and heart rate follow along. Pinch to zoom, drag the profile to scrub through time. • The moment. Altura finds the stretch where your heart rate was highest and your pace slowest, and tells it plainly: “Twelve minutes for 300 meters.” Add a note about what went through your head there. • A memory to share. A single card with the map, the summit, the day, your time, elevation gain and heart rate, plus a strip of your photos. Save it to Photos or send it to whoever was with you. • Names that mean something. Routes are named after the summit, lake or valley you reached. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence the title is proposed on‑device, from the places and what your photos show. ONE PURCHASE. THAT’S IT. You pay once when you download Altura and you own it. There are no subscriptions, no in‑app purchases, no “pro” version, no ads and no account to create. Future updates are included. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR IPHONE Altura has no servers. Your routes, heart rate, photos and notes are read and processed on your iPhone and stay there. Altura never uploads anything, never collects analytics and never sees your data. Place names come from the maps service built into iOS, the same one Apple Maps uses. WHAT YOU NEED • An iPhone with iOS 17 or later. • Hikes recorded in Apple Health with a GPS route: from Apple Watch (Hiking workout) or any app that saves hiking workouts with routes to Health. • Optional: access to Photos, so Altura can find the pictures from each hike. Access to Health and Photos is read‑only and you can revoke it at any time. If you don’t have hikes in Health yet, Altura shows a sample day so you can see what yours will look like.
