Carshow App app analytics for July 18

Welcome to Carshow – this is a brand new motoring app that lets you have, you’ve guessed it, a car show in your pocket. On your home screen you’ll see a selection of garages, suggested content, specialist services and events. The main utility of the app starts with your cars – and they are stored in your ‘garage.’ Basically in this garage, you can show off the cars you own – from the everyday to cars to ones you have locked away as a passion project. Once set up, you can share these collections or keep them private. Once you have established cars you actually own, then you set up ‘dream garages’ – cars you want to own. You can populate the dream garages with cars you like the look of, or cars you’d like to own, and keep them in a garage too. With both types of garage, you can connect to other fans or owners who like the same cars as you. So by this time you already have a car show – you have cars to show, cars to watch and a profile within the community of the app. The second half of the home page is suggested cars/content. Once the app has learned your tastes, it will send you cars you might like, events that fit your taste, and users who are like you. This isn’t to over-sell, it’s to extend your network so you are getting to see more of what you enjoy and talking to people you might like. You can also select services for your cars that are local and fit your car – so if you are a looking for a specialist service you’ll find it easily. These might include bodywork or mechanical work, or finding specialist parts, or buying tailor-made insurance. There is more! A bit part of being in a car community is buying and selling. Once you list a car, it’s either ‘for sale’ or ‘not for sale’ or ‘might be for sale.’ If you are watching a car that you really like – because it’s your dream car, and the status changes, then you’ll be notified. So the app offers a very focussed and still fun buying and selling tool. All aspects of the app are free to use – but there is a subscription for selling cars or for promoting a service. There is no cap on the number of cars, and it’s a fraction of the price of a traditional car-selling app. The way users upload a garage is to take 6 (or more) prescribed images of their car, plus video if needed. These are uploaded to the database with a short description, and number-plates are also blocked to protect data. One the car is in user’s garage, and made ‘public’, other users can contact, or leave comments or a simple ‘like’. Cars with great feedback and likes are more likely to be promoted on the home page, so your car can become famous in the community. Other garages can be set up for different reasons – ‘my next car’ or ‘four wheel drive picks’ or ‘if I won the lottery’, so a user can select multiple cars and garages and watch them, or contact owners, or just grow a collection. Think of it like a card game! The AI component of the app will offer up possible cars/users/other picks, so there is always something to see. Many image sharing or social-media apps are very broad, so when you open it, you may see a car, or a video of someone jumping into the sea – the algorithm decides what you will see. In this app, it’s very simple. You’ll see cars! And you won’t be bombarded with sponsored contact or branded material – all users have the same status. Data is safely stored and not sold to third parties. At the moment you are looking at the first gen of the app but we will be rolling out a new version with fixes and improvements. We’d love to hear feedback so we can incorporate it into the next gen. We are launching with an emphasis on UK cars at the moment but teams are being set up to launch in the North America, Australia, France, Germany, Belelux and Middle East. This will happen over 2026.
