HID Global’s ActivID® Token provides proven, strong authentication for remote employees accessing corporate IT systems and consumers logging on to online services, without the need to distribute hardware tokens. A user wishing to access a protected resource, such as a VPN or internet banking site, uses the ActivID® Token app to generate a One Time Password. The app can be PIN protected. The ActivID® Token is part of a broad portfolio of hardware and software based One Time Password tokens from HID Global. The ActivID® Token works with the HID ActivID® Appliance, 4TRESS AAA Server for Remote Access 6.7.2 and above and 4TRESS Authentication Server 7.0.3 and above.
