READ_ACTIVE_CALORIES_BURNED The app's dashboard displays a real-time "Calories Remaining", calculated as: Daily Goal − Calories Eaten + Calories Burned. By syncing active calories directly from Health Connect, the app provides a complete picture of your daily energy expenditure. Without this data, the app can only show calories consumed and cannot display how much energy the user has actually expended through exercise and movement. This is the primary metric users rely on to decide what and how much to eat each day. READ_WEIGHT The app personalizes your daily calorie goal using your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), which is calculated based on your current weight. This data also fuels a progress chart, letting you track how your body composition evolves alongside your diet. By syncing with Health Connect, you can automatically import weight data from other apps—like your smart scale—saving you from manual entries while ensuring your calorie goals and trends stay accurate.
