MULTIPLE MICROPHONES FOR STEADIER READINGS (subscription) On compatible devices two microphones are analysed separately and combined per partial. This can contribute to steadier readings, especially in the treble. HARMONIC EQUIVALENT PITCH Piano strings are inharmonic; OnlyPure therefore works with a harmonic equivalent pitch by default. Compared with fundamental-based tuners, deviations of 2–3 cents sharp (about 0.5–0.8 Hz at A4) are normal. If you need the fundamental as your reference, a single tap in the concert-pitch dialog switches over.
