Before sending any item(s), you must get prior authorization before returning any item, regardless of the reason. Please submit the request via our Warranty & Returns portal to request a return. Exchanges Exchange Methods Available Standard Exchange: Once the exchanged item has been returned, the replacement item is shipped out. Cross-Ship: For the fastest service, B-TEK Scales can cross-ship orders that are placed with a credit card. B-TEK will temporarily charge your credit card for the cost of the replacement item(s). When B-TEK receives the item being sent back, the additional charges will be refunded. Scales Scales can be exchanged as long as they are still in original packaging and within 30 days of delivery. Customer will be responsible for any additional shipping charges on exchanged scale in addition to return shipping of original scale. Closeout & Clearance Items Closeout and Clearance items are not eligible for return unless it has been determined to be defective. Defective closeout and clearance items will be eligible for exchange (or store credit if unavailable). Returns Defective Products / Errors B-TEK Scales will replace any product that is defective or was shipped in error at no cost to the customer. Return shipping costs and other incidental feeds are the sole responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or shipped in error. Return Time To return an item you must contact us within 30 days from the date your package arrives. B-TEK Scales is not responsible for any damage or loss of returned packages and we suggest that you insure the returned package(s) through the carrier. We cannot process refunds on damaged items; damaged items will be returned to the customer via ground shipping. Handling Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and include original product packaging. For each item returned for refund instead of exchange, a restocking fee of 30% will be assessed.
