Our Story Who we are Electrical Research and Development Association (ERDA), a not-for-profit professional organization, registered under the Societies Act and Public Trust formed under the Charity Commissioner of Maharashtra, was promoted by the electrical industries and some utilities with support from the Government of India through CSIR and grant given by the Government of Gujarat. ERDA is a premier Electrical & Power sector Research & Development Organisation of the nation providing services to the Power Sector in three technical areas of “Testing & Evaluation”, “Field Services”, and “R&D and Expert Services”.
