Last week was British Sandwich Week and we celebrated by partnering with the cross section king: Sensational Sandwiches. Get ready to sink your teeth into something truly special – the Sensational Souvlaki Sandwich! Available from now until the end of August (or until it sells out!) exclusively at our Neat Soho restaurant. What’s inside the sarnie of the season? The best sandwich in London. This mega sarnie is fully loaded with fresh and fabulous, greek-inspired ingredients. Transport yourself to euro summer destination, but with a truly sensational twist. Here's what's inside: Miami chick’n: a succulent, plant-based chicken that’s as tasty as it is sustainable. Check 'em out here. Souvlaki-spiced greek yoghurt: a zesty, spicy twist that adds a punch of flavour to the chick'n. Greek salad with sundried tomatoes: fresh, tangy, and bursting with Mediterranean goodness. Creamy hummus: Smooth and rich, it’s the perfect complement to our chick’n. Fresh tzatziki: Cool, creamy, and refreshing. Cheffin' it up at Neat Fraser (aka the sensational sandwich guy) spent a couple of days with our Development Chef, Bruno, to create this recipe, born from one of his most viral videos on his page. The idea was to bring one of his recipes to life, we chose the souvlaki sarnie as we felt it was the most balanced, one that could be enjoyed every day by our guests, but still ridiculously moreish. Oh, and just look at that cross section. A night to remember! We kicked off the launch at our Soho location with a fantastic party! The Neat squad showed up in full force to celebrate the sandwich of the season. Guests enjoyed our selection of cocktails including: matcha mojitos, classic margaritas and berry brambles, alongside tots, fries and, of course, the loaded sandwiches.
