Satellite Weather puts live GOES-19 (East) and GOES-18 (West) imagery, mosaic radar, lightning detection, and severe-weather overlays in one fast, ad-free app. Free gives you all of the data. Pro gives you the resolution, the advanced tools, more favorites, and a longer archive. FREE • All 16 ABI channels plus every RGB product, GeoColor included • Every weather overlay — MRMS radar with hail size and rotation tracks, GLM lightning (flash, density, minimum flash area), NWS warnings, watches and mesoscale discussions, SPC outlooks, ProbSevere and storm reports, RAP variables across pressure levels, RTMA surface analysis, METAR observations, aviation, active fires, and tropical • Live GOES CONUS view and the full-disk hemisphere view • Mesoscale 2 — one-minute imagery wherever the sector is pointed • Animation loops up to 20 frames, and a 6-hour archive • Drawing, sharing, and the measure tool • Physical map boundaries — states, counties, roads, cities, rivers, lat/lon grid • One saved favorite — sign in with a free account to sync favorites and custom regions across devices and satellitewx.com • Convenient layering system to add all of the above on top of your satellite imagery • No ads PRO ($1.99/mo or $19.99/year — 2 week free trial) • Full-resolution local views — regional, sub-regional, state and metro. Every view is rendered at the same pixel count as CONUS but covers far less ground, so a state view carries roughly five times the detail of that same area seen in the free CONUS view. Zooming into CONUS magnifies one fixed image; Pro renders that area fresh. • Full-disk north and south crops, plus the ocean views • Mesoscale 1 — the second one-minute sector • Soundings, skew-T, and cross-section analysis tools • Pixel inspector for exact brightness temperatures • Time series tool for storm trends • Dual and quad (tablet) pane setup to view more data at once • Animation loops up to 100 frames • The full 48-hour archive — replay an entire event from the start • Up to 25 favorites (saved views), synced across your devices • No ads, ever PRIVACY & TERMS • Your location stays on your device — used only to center the map. We never see it. • No ads. No third-party tracking.
