When community tracking is enabled, TrainSight may continue transmitting movement observations during your railway journey while the app is not on screen. Participation is optional and can be managed through the app and your device settings. Community observations complement TrainSight’s dedicated tracking infrastructure and help make train information available even where dedicated hardware coverage is limited.
