Nigeria has thus developed a coordinated approach to address the nutrition issues across sectors both at national and local levels. This strategy is outlined clearly in the National Multi-sectoral Plan of Action for Food and Nutrition, which resulted in the establishment of the National Council on Nutrition in Nigeria. This fundraising and receipt policy affirms that Children’s Hunger Fund is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, honors donor-designated restrictions when consistent with CHF’s mission, and provides written tax receipts and annual documentation for all tax-deductible gifts. Through its comprehensive gift acceptance policy, CHF accepts gifts of cash, marketable securities, privately held stock, real estate, tangible personal property, cryptocurrency, and endowment contributions, subject to appropriate appraisals, legal review, and Board of Directors approval when required.
