Replacement Cheekpiece for Master Piece Arms Introducing the MPA Competition Cheekpiece for a Master Piece Arms chassis. This is a replacement cheek-piece, cheek rest or comb for the MPA chassis. The "New" variation now ships with a cheekpiece that does not have the longer, pointy ends. It is functionally identical and was done to simplify inventory across multiple models and to reduce filament waste. **NEW Material 2/28/2024** - Now with a smoother material The new material is ABS, and can be further chemically smoothed using Acetone.  For a DIY project you can research ABS Acetone chemical smoothing and using a fairly simple procedure achieve a high gloss finish.  Bison Tactical recommends the "Smoother" surface for this procedure. Installation Instructions for New Version Link Below is a picture showing the new versions of the MPA narrow cheekpiece.  These new ones do not use a mounting block, instead screws penetrate the cheekpiece and screw directly into the rods below them.  For Ultralight/Hybrid there are (2) rods.  For Matrix/Competition and others there are (2) rods and a center thumbscrew which uses a threaded larger rod that threads into the thumbwheel.  The "OLD STYLE" below is the mounting block for the wide curved aluminum cheekrest from the older versions of the MPA chassis (shown without the cheeckrest).  The version pictured uses the replacement mount for a quick release (typically used on a non-folder chassis).  The mounting block is the same for all the older MPA chassis.
