This unit replace the entire top section the Yamha start stop except you will need to remove your red and green buttons and the rubber seal or they can be purchase seperatly as well . then you will just need to install them into you need switch housing that has the built in EZ Start which allows a lanyard key to pivot over the kill switch for Emergency start in surf conditions where your lanyard cannot be quickly recovered or for Diagnostic work on Trialer or cart and even can be used for flushing your ski when a lanyard isnt handy .THIS IS NOT BE USED AS SOLE RIDING LANYARD KEY AS EJECTION FROM SKI COULD CAUSE A GHOST RIDER SKI WHICH IS VERYVERY DANGEROUS TO YOU AND OTHERS
