Focused on breast cancer prevention, the Santiago Free Trade Zone Corporation (CZFS) launched the 11th edition of its campaign “Porque Te Quiero” (Because I Care) through the forum “Cuidarnos También es Hablarlo.” The initiative promotes timely medical testing at the Víctor Espaillat Mera Industrial Park (PIVEM) and highlights the importance of emotional, community, and family support. For over a decade, the campaign has strengthened health awareness and solidarity within PIVEM, performing more than 18,500 medical exams and detecting 713 potential breast cancer cases. This year’s edition includes new service surveys, expanded participation among contractors and suppliers, and advanced diagnostic equipment such as the region’s most modern Breast MRI scanner. Supported by multiple partner companies, “Porque Te Quiero” stands as a Corporate Social Responsibility model that reaffirms CZFS’s long-term commitment to women’s health, medical education, and community well-being.
