E6B is a modern flight computer for iPhone and iPad — built for student E6B is a modern flight computer for iPhone and iPad — built for student pilots, instrument candidates, and working aviators who need fast, accurate calculations without fumbling with a physical whiz wheel. WEATHER • Pressure & Density Altitude — from baro setting, OAT, and field elevation • Crosswind, Headwind & Tailwind — enter wind speed, direction, and runway heading • Cloud Base & Freezing Level — AGL and pressure altitude • Hydroplane Speed PREFLIGHT • Planned True Airspeed — from CAS, pressure altitude, and OAT • Required CAS / Required TAS — reverse-solve airspeed equations • Heading & Groundspeed — full wind triangle solution • Compass Heading — with magnetic variation and compass deviation • Leg Time — solve any one of time, speed, or distance • Fuel Required & Endurance • Planned Mach Number • Time Math — add and subtract times in HH:MM:SS IN-FLIGHT • Actual True Airspeed — from CAS, altitude, and OAT • Actual True Altitude — corrected for non-standard temperature • Groundspeed — from elapsed time and distance • Fuel Per Hour — from fuel used and elapsed time • Distance Flown WEIGHT & BALANCE Build custom aircraft profiles with stations, limits, and CG envelopes. Load passengers, fuel, and cargo — E6B calculates total weight, moment, and CG in real time. Save multiple profiles for different aircraft. CONVERSIONS Bidirectional converters for: NM ↔ SM ↔ km, feet ↔ meters, °C ↔ °F, inHg ↔ mb, lbs ↔ kg, US gallons ↔ liters, HH:MM:SS ↔ decimal hours, Avgas and Jet A weight (gallons or liters to pounds), and minimum climb gradient to percent or degrees.
