The score combines permission audits, special access checks, device security status, and battery health into one easy-to-understand number — so you know exactly where you stand. 🔐 Privacy & Permission Audits See which apps can access your sensitive data. App Shield checks 10 permission categories across every installed app: • Location (GPS & background location) • Camera & Microphone • Contacts & Accounts • SMS & Text Messages • Phone & Call Logs • Storage & Photos • Calendar • Body Sensors & Activity Recognition • Nearby Devices & Bluetooth For each category, you'll see which apps have the permission declared and which ones actually have it granted — helping you spot apps that have more access than they need. ⚠️ Security Action Center Security findings are grouped by app and prioritized by severity. For each issue, you get clear context on why it's a risk and what to do about it: • Fix Now — jump straight to the relevant system setting • Trust App — mark an app as safe to hide it from future scans • Ignore Finding — snooze a specific issue • Uninstall — remove the app entirely Findings include detailed explanations like "Calculator app requesting microphone access is unusual" so you can make informed decisions, not just guess. 🔎 Special Access Audit Check which apps have powerful system-level access — permissions most users never see: • Accessibility Services • Display Over Other Apps • Notification Access • Install Unknown Apps • Device Administrator • Usage Access • All-Files Access • Battery Optimization (unrestricted) • VPN • Modify System Settings • Picture-in-Picture • Exact Alarm • Default System Apps Each entry shows the risk level and explains why that access matters, with a direct link to the relevant system settings. 🔒 Device Security Diagnostics Run a full security checkup on your device: • Lock screen & biometric security status • Storage encryption status • Root & Magisk detection (checks SU binaries, test-keys, and known root packages) • Developer Options & USB Debugging status • SELinux enforcement mode • Android security patch age (warns if outdated) • Private DNS configuration • Bootloader status 🔋 Battery Laboratory Monitor your battery health and charging status in real time: • Battery temperature with thermal warnings • Charging health status (Good / Overheat / Dead / Cold) • Voltage, current flow, and power wattage • Battery technology (Li-ion, etc.) • Charging source detection (USB / AC / Wireless) • Estimated time to full and time remaining 📱 Device & System Insights Explore your device hardware and software details: • CPU architecture, board, and core count • Total, available, and used RAM • Supported ABIs • Display resolution and density • Sensor count • Android version and codename • Kernel version • ART runtime version 📊 Usage & Network Insights Understand your device usage patterns: • Daily app usage sorted by time spent in foreground • Last used timestamps for each app • 30-day mobile data consumption • 30-day Wi-Fi data consumption ✨ Why App Shield? • Simple, modern interface — no technical knowledge needed • Privacy-focused — all data stays on your device • Actionable insights — not just numbers, but clear next steps • Lightweight — minimal battery and storage footprint • Ad-free option available Take control of your Android device.
