Tired of always climbing in the same places? iClimbing is the app for you. Here you’ll find a large archive of accurate and comprehensive information on the best spots for sport climbing and alpinism. An advanced search engine helps you find the right destination for any holiday or weekend, based on aspect, altitude, route difficulty, protection quality, approach length, and overall appeal of the area. Versante Sud, together with its authors, is a large community of climbers: with your purchase, you support their work and, through the Books for Bolts project, help create and maintain your favourite climbing spots. FEATURES Map: discover crags, multipitch routes, and bouldering areas on the interactive map. Filters: find the area that best suits your needs by filtering for difficulty, approach time, aspect, and much more. Area features: choose a location based on parking, comfort at the base, suitability for families, beginners, and more. Offline: download your areas and access them anytime, even without signal. App included: have you already bought a supported Versante Sud print guidebook? Enter the code and get it for free in the app. Purchases: interested in just one area? Buy it directly in the app, with spots starting from €1.19. A LARGE ARCHIVE iClimbing is built on Versante Sud’s extensive guidebook catalogue: hundreds of titles covering all of Italy and many of Europe’s major climbing areas. A wealth of complete, consistent, and reliable information forms the foundation of the app. THE KM ZERO AUTHOR COMMUNITY Versante Sud has always relied on special contributors: Km Zero authors, climbers who live in, climb in, and develop the areas featured in these guides. Why does that matter? Local authors benefit climbers because they: • provide the freshest and most up-to-date information; • don’t focus only on the most commercial spots; • reinvest proceeds into new crags, bouldering areas, and multipitch routes. Local authors also benefit the area because they: • publish only what can responsibly be published; • promote locations with care and respect; • are closely connected to the local community. THE BOOKS FOR BOLTS PROJECT When you buy on iClimbing, you also support bolting work, because part of the revenue goes to our contributors. But they are not the only ones who benefit: another share is provided, in the form of equipment for developing new climbing spots, to bolters recommended by our authors. From 1999 to today, Versante Sud has distributed more than 50,000 metal anchors, contributing to your safety as well. 30 YEARS OF ACTIVITY Versante Sud has been around since before smartphones existed. Since 1997, it has stood alongside climbers: first with printed guidebooks, and later with digital products. A company that has long been active through projects such as Books for Bolts and Km Zero, with the constant goal of offering quality and respect for the local environment.
