As the family grew, so did the understanding that preserving a legacy sometimes requires creating new pathways for it to grow. In 1977, driven by foresight rather than necessity, Mr. Surendraseth Gadve, along with his brothers Mr. Rajendraseth and Mr. Ravindraseth Gadve, established Kaka Halwai Sweet Center with the opening of the Tilak Road store. This was not a departure from tradition, but a strategic extension of it in a spirit of entrepreeurship -  an independent identity built to serve new markets and environments, while remaining anchored to the values that defined the family name.   Structured Growth, Rooted in Discipline KHSC’s growth was deliberate, not hurried. In 1984, the opening of the first franchise on Karve Road marked a significant milestone. It signalled a transition from a single-location legacy to a structured, regional brand  -  without compromising on process or quality. Over the decades that followed, KHSC expanded steadily across Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Talegaon, and Baramati, reaching 22 branches that serve fresh products daily.
