أديس أبابا 23 أبريل 2023 (إينا) دعا رئيس الوزراء الدكتور أبي أحمد الخصوم السياسيين في السودان إلى التوصل إلى سلام، وأنه لا بديل إلا سواه وذلك من خلال أخذ الدروس من اتفاقي السلام الإثيوبية.   كشف رئيس الوزراء الدكتور أبي أحمد عن ذلك اليوم في رسالة ألقاه في حدث نظم لتكريم أولئك الذين ساهموا في اتفاقية بريتوريا للسلام تحت شعار: "كفى للحرب، دعونا نحافظ على السلام".   قال رئيس الوزراء إن اتفاقية السلام الإثيوبية الموقعة في بريتوريا بجنوب إفريقيا، هي درس للدول المجاورة وجميع الدول الأفريقية الأخرى.   وفي هذا الصدد قال رئيس الوزراء إن السلام لا يحتاج إلى أعذار، مشددا على ضرورة إعطاء الأولوية القصوى للسلام.   ودعا الخصوم السودانيين إلى حل نزاعاتهم الحالية من خلال الحوار، واستخلاص الدروس من اتفاق السلام الإثيوبي.   وكشف رئيس الوزراء الدكتور أبي أحمد أن إثيوبيا تستعد لإيصال مساعدات إنسانية للسودان للتعبير عن تضامنها مع الشعب السوداني. وأنه سيتم تسليم 50 ألف قنطار من القمح والمستلزمات الطبية للشعب السوداني.   وذكر الدكتور آبي مساهمة إثيوبيا المستمرة في السلام في إفريقيا من خلال إرسال بعثات حفظ سلام إلى عدة دول في القارة، مضيفًا أننا مستعدون لإظهار تضامننا مع الشعب السوداني من خلال مشاركة ما لدينا.
