In published training studies roughly one in five to one in three committed adults reached criterion, and the average was about seven of twelve pitch classes after some twenty-one hours of practice. This app does not promise more than that. What it does promise is that the training is built on what was actually measured: masked intervals, feedback half a second after the answer, and pitch class rather than pitch height.
