Wet Bulb & Safety: HeatCue app analytics for October 16

Is it safe to be outside right now? The thermometer only knows half of it. Standing in open sun is not the same as standing in the shade, so HeatCue reads both: wet-bulb globe temperature (WBGT), the number that captures how heat, humidity, and sun actually hit your body, with a plain risk band you can read in a second. Know before you go: • Current WBGT for your location: heat, humidity, and sun in one number • Sun or shade: the same weather read two ways, so you know what the shade buys you • A clear risk band: Safe / Caution / Danger / Extreme • UV index beside the heat: sunburn risk at a glance • Alerts: your cue before conditions turn dangerous, several per place, each watching sun or shade • Home-screen widgets: conditions at a glance • Hourly + 7-day forecast and trends: plan the run, the hike, the walk • Multiple locations: home, work, the trailhead • Profiles: the average person, at-risk people, and dogs each have different heat limits. You can also create a custom profile. • Plain-language guides: what wet bulb and WBGT actually mean Built for anyone who works, trains, or plays outside, and for anyone keeping an eye on kids, older family, or pets through a heatwave. HeatCue shows conditions and general risk categories based on public weather data.
