New for 2025, open back planar magnetic over ear headphone featuring many new and improved technologies.  New Unveiled Driver Technology Arya Unveiled is the newest model to receive the Unveiled design upgrade - the 'Window Shade' grill at the rear of the driver has been removed. There is some protection for the driver from the placement of the magnets and when not in use, you are encouraged to place the flat magnetic veils (covers) over the outside of each earcup for protection (as shown below, left side).  Removing the grille from the rear of the earcup allowed Hifiman to tune the driver for maximum clarity, reduced distortion and provide a more lifelike, wide open soundstage, for a more realistic 'you are there' listening experience! Ultra Thin Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm Since the nanometer thickness diaphragm is sensitive to reflected sound waves, in order to push the performance capabilities beyond previous Arya models, it is necessary to further increase the openness of the back of the headphone. This was the inspiration for the ARYA UNVEILED’s grille-free design & removable back panel veils. Arya Unveiled Outstanding Build Quality The headband is the result of clever industrial design that bears a simple shape and results in an ideal ergonomic fit for the wide majority of listeners. It will accommodate a wider range of head sizes while applying pressure evenly over the wearers head for excellent long wearing comfort. The metal headband structure is built via CNC milling and hand polishing.  The ARYA UNVEILED keeps things simple with a single Crystalline Copper cable in a nylon wrap.
