GG&G is offering the Mossberg 930 Integrated Heat Shield as an option because not all shooters use the "Extended Grip" technique and would prefer not to have one. But, even if you don't use the "Extended Grip" there are other reasons to use the 930 Heat Shield. One of them being "It Looks Bad Ass Tactical". The New Tactical Mossberg 930 Forearm is full length and has a large dynamic textured surface area to aide in your grip. Especially useful  in stress situations. The M-LOK Slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock at the front of the Tactical Forend allow you to easily add M-LOK Sling Attachments, Light Rails and other M-LOK Accessories as needed.
