SLOT ME IN™ cooking trivets are a versatile and handy cookware accessory especially when combined with a camp oven for roasting meats and vegetables or baking breads, cakes, scones or damper to name just a few. Our trivets are made from a single piece of 4mm thick BlueScope™ Xlerplate Tru-Spec™ steel, precision laser cut with legs folded at 90 ͦ. They come in varying external diameters, (currently 8 sizes, 150mm, 175mm, 200mm, 230mm, 250mm, 290mm, 330mm and 375mm) to suit most camp ovens. A simple wipe with paper towel or dry cotton cloth with some rice bran oil or other similar edible food oil applied after purchase and a moderate preheat of the new trivet in a camp oven or similar (eg: hooded bbq or oven) for about an hour then removing it and allowing it to cool is all that is required prior to its first use.
