Over the course of six solo albums – the last of which, Blood Bitch, was praised as one of the best releases of 2016 by the likes of The Wire, FACT and The Quietus – the Norwegian avant-gardist has refined her conceptual explorations of gender politics, sexuality and violence to the tune of her own intimate and distinctive sound.
