We were recently featured in a recent article by Maryellen Apelquist, published December 11, 2025, in the Herald, titled “Honoring a Brookfield Treasure: Innkeepers Open After Massive Renovations.” The piece captures a moment in time that felt especially meaningful to us, a winter Sunday afternoon at the Pond Village Pub, with warm pastries coming out of the kitchen, stockings hung by the fireplace, and the quiet of a snowy Brookfield scene just outside the window.
