Avoinna olevista hauista ilmoitetaan säätiön verkkosivuilla, Facebook-sivuilla ja Instagramissa. Lisäksi säätiö välittää hakuilmoitukset Suomen Taiteilijaseuran jäsenjärjestöille tiedotettaviksi esimerkiksi liittojen jäsenkirjeiden kautta. Hakemukset arvioidaan vertaisarviointiperusteisesti. Taiteilijavalinnoissa huomioidaan seuraavien Suomen Taiteilijaseuran jäsenjärjestöjen jäsenyys – Taidemaalariliitto, Suomen Taidegraafikot, Suomen Kuvanveistäjäliitto, Valokuvataiteilijoiden liitto ja Muu ry. Ateljeesäätiö tarjoaa kohtuuhintaisia työtiloja, ateljeeasuntoja ja residenssejä ammattikuvataiteilijoille niin pitkäaikaiseen, kuin projektikohtaiseenkin työskentelyyn. Verkkosivuilla välitämme ajoittain tietoa myös muiden toimijoiden vapaista työtiloista.
