TACT is looking for individuals who can draw on their professional expertise, their belief in the importance of the arts, and their desire to give back to their community, to serve on our Board of Directors. We are seeking a diverse group who will join a team dedicated to governing Thalian Association Community Theatre, and by extension the Hannah Block Historic USO/ Community Arts Center, through active participation in monthly meetings, committee responsibilities, fundraising activities, and promoting and attending Main Stage and Youth Theatre productions. Although we encourage all who appreciate everything that a strong arts community contributes to our area to apply, we are particularly looking for those who might bring the following expertise to the board: strategic planning, legal, fundraising, board leadership, and/ or ethnic diversity. If interested in applying, please complete the Thalian Association Board Member Application by clicking on this link. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS OF A THALIAN ASSOCIATION BOARD MEMBER? Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings (3rd) third Wednesday of each month. Maintain annual membership $150/yr due in July at the start of the fiscal year. Purchase an annual season ticket package – A minimum outlay of $175. Attend Main Stage and Youth Theatre productions throughout the season as available. Participate in one of the formed committees. Attend the annual Divine Divas Presents fundraiser held in late February.
