ANTONY GORMLEY (1950-) Antony Gormley - Inside Australia - showcases Turner Prize-winning artist Gormley's stunning 51-statue installation on Lake Ballard, a 10 square kilometre dry salt lake in a remote region of Western Australia. Photographs, maps and drawings present the entire creative process in detail, while commentaries explain its different stages and place the work in the wider context of Gormley's sculptural oeuvre. The centrepiece of the book is a photographic section showing the figures standing sentinel on the parched salt plains.
