Door Delights is an online platform connecting restaurants with customers, with a vision to make food delivery an easy experience for all. Back then, when there was a little box that connected you to the internet called a modem, (which made funny noises, and provided you internet slower than a tortoise) a customer would place an order online. Our team would then need to disconnect from the internet, phone the restaurant, place the order, and then reconnect to the internet! Delivery back then was sometimes also an issue, as there was no Google Maps! Fast-forward to 2023, we’ve introduced the food delivery industry in chilaw region. For customers, it’s now much, much easier – a few taps of an app, and voila, your delivery is on it’s way – with amazing tracking, superfast delivery and the possibility to communicate with the rider in-app. Now, we also don’t just deliver food. We are planning to deliver groceries, flowers, pharmaceuticals, plus a whole lot more! And, we’ve also introduced Doordelights mart, our q-commerce grocery store, which delivers in 30-minutes or less! We’re also proud to be the first ever food delivery platform, operating in chilaw region of srilanka One last key part of the story: In 2024, Delivery Hero, acquired us, we’ve are going to become strength to strength.
