“Note Navigator” is a music app designed to help violin students associate written music notes with their location on the violin fingerboard. It gamifies the standard music flashcard drill into a fun video game app, guiding students through almost 200 levels to master the location of each note on their instrument. Apprentice - 19 levels • Begins with just finger names on a fingerboard with tapes to associate note with finger/string locations. • Quickly moves to note names without accidentals. Artisan - 42 levels • Introduces naturals, sharps and flats. • Simple enharmonic ideas. Adept - 36 levels • Double sharps and flats are introduced. • "Enharmonic Insanity" levels bring serious challenge.
