SURVIVOR BENEFIT PLAN (SBP) Spouse and per-child coverage, with the premium priced the way DFAS prices it — including child-only coverage off the actuarial factor. Model the election before DD Form 2656 makes it permanent. VA DISABILITY Add your ratings and see the combined-rating math worked step by step. VA does not add ratings — each one applies to what's left. Concurrent receipt (CRDP/CRSC) eligibility is flagged. RETIREMENT CHECKLIST A T-minus timeline from two years out to after you're out: TAP, service records, SkillBridge, the BDD claim window, DD Form 2656, scheduling the final move with the TMO, TRICARE enrollment, the DD-214 review, and verifying your first retired paycheck against your own statement.
