A WIDGET THAT DOES THE REMEMBERING The home screen widget shows your soonest-expiring leftovers with their status colors. You see what needs eating without opening anything. NUDGES AT MEALTIMES, THEN SILENCE A heads-up around lunch or dinner when an item is on its last day, one more when time is up. Alerts only ever arrive near mealtimes, never at night. Expired items clean themselves up 48 hours later, photo and all, so the app never hoards storage. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION, NOT BY PROMISE ZapOrScrap contains no networking code at all.
