How many hours of your life does a new purchase cost? The price label tells you how much money you need to pay. AnkhRate shows how much of your time it took to earn that money. Your salary does not tell the whole truth about the value of an hour. Work does not begin the moment you open your laptop, and it does not always finish on time. There are taxes, the journey to work, late finishes, and the energy left somewhere between home and the workplace. AnkhRate takes all of this into account and turns money into something you can feel: minutes, hours, and working days of your life. Point your camera at a price label, enter an amount manually, or look at your spending, subscriptions, savings, and wishes. Instead of abstract numbers, you will see the time behind them. AnkhRate does not tell you to stop spending or make you feel guilty about buying something. Sometimes an item costs a week of work and is still completely worth it. What matters is knowing the real price before you make the decision. You can earn money again. You cannot earn your time back.
