Bites - Price Compare app analytics for October 18

Giving power back to the people. The new hub for everything food! Bites shows you what food really costs before you order: real, dated prices from restaurant menus and from people who paid them, all in one place. Bites started in Cape Town and now covers Stellenbosch and Johannesburg too, with more cities being added all the time. Search works anywhere, and every price you add helps your area fill up. HOW IT WORKS Search for what you're craving (burger, pizza, coffee) and see real prices nearby, sorted the way you want: cheapest, closest, best value, top rated or most recently checked. Bites knows what you mean even when you misspell it, shows real meals before starters, and lets you search near any place, not just where you're standing. Filter by Halal, Kosher, Vegetarian, Vegan and more. Search a restaurant by name to see its whole menu. REAL PRICES, NOT GUESSES Every price is dated and shows how fresh it is, so you always know how much to trust it. Menus are checked line by line, and you can see how a dish's price has changed over time. SNACKING The Snacking feed is where Bites lives: food photos and prices from the people you follow, and a Restaurants tab with posts straight from the places themselves. Like, comment, follow and find out what's good near you. SNAP AND SAVE Got a receipt or a menu? Snap it and Bites reads the dishes, prices and date for you, then asks you to confirm before anything is saved. PLANS WITH FRIENDS Start a plan in three steps, add restaurants and dishes, let everyone vote, see the route on a map and add it to your calendar. WHAT CAN I GET FOR R100? Tell Bites what you want to spend and see everything nearby that fits. Set a monthly food budget and see exactly where your money goes. YOUR FOOD DIARY Every bite you log builds your food diary, with a calendar, a monthly recap of your best finds and scrapbook-style pictures to share on Instagram and WhatsApp. DELIVERY VS IN PERSON See how much more a dish costs on delivery apps than in person, so you know what eating in saves you. BUILD A REPUTATION Add prices, earn badges and climb the weekly leaderboard, from Price Scout all the way to Price Master. And keep an eye out for Mr Bite. BITES FOR BUSINESS Restaurant owners can claim their page, keep their menu and prices up to date, post new dishes and updates, and see how people find them. BUILT ON TRUST Report or block anyone, and every report reaches a real moderator, because a community only works when it stays kind. Menu prices change, delivery apps mark things up, and nobody has time to check five different sites before deciding where to eat. Bites puts real, dated prices in one place, so next time you're craving a burger, you'll know exactly where to get it and what it'll cost.
