WHAT IT IS HazeCam is a video camera, and nothing else. No projects, no timeline, no waiting. You open it and the viewfinder is already live, with the last camera loaded. Press the button, record, release. The file goes to your iPhone's camera roll with the film burned in. What you saw on the screen is exactly what got recorded. FIVE FILMS On top of the camera comes the film, which gives it texture and strength: SUPER 8, 16 MM, 35 MM, 65 MM and CLEAN. From coarse, shaky grain to almost invisible. That's 35 combinations, with a strength slider to dial in each one without leaving the viewfinder. THE CHEMISTRY, LIVE Halation on the highlights. The glow around anything that shines. Grain that breathes, with different weight in the shadows, midtones and highlights. The flutter of the frame. Black that gains depth instead of turning into a hole. All of it is calculated frame by frame, in the viewfinder, before you press the button. This isn't an approximate preview: it's the same development that ends up in the file. THE CONTROLS Nothing appears on screen until you tap. After that, it's all there: Exposure, automatic or by hand, with ISO and shutter White balance on a Kelvin slider, with sun, shade and tungsten Autofocus, manual focus and face focus: the camera finds faces and you choose which one it follows Skin tone on a 0 to 100 slider, to bring skin back into line Every lens on your iPhone, from 0.5x to 8x, with continuous zoom Stabilization in three steps: off, system or hybrid Up to 4K, with 24, 25, 30, 60 and 120 frames per second when the iPhone supports it HEVC, H.264 and ProRes 422 across all four qualities Aspect ratio 16:9, 4:3, 1:1 and 2.39 YOUR LUT BECOMES A CAMERA Import a .cube file and it doesn't become a loose effect: it becomes a camera on the shelf, with a name, an icon and a place in the carousel, right next to the house's cameras. Importing is free: the camera you bring in joins the shelf and shows its look live in the viewfinder. To record with it, the same three free takes and the same subscription apply. FAVORITES Long press any camera to favorite it. Favorites move to the front of the shelf, in the order you marked them. Your shelf stays your way. WHAT'S FREE The app opens free and the viewfinder is already live. Tap any camera and it loads right away: the look happens live on the screen, with no counter and no rush. Bringing in your own .cube file is free too. The first three takes are free: video or photo, with any camera, including yours.
