FretGenius is a guitar fretboard trainer that helps you learn guitar notes and intervals in about 5 minutes a day. If you know chord shapes but still count frets to find a note, this fretboard trainer turns slow note-finding into instant recall anywhere on the guitar fretboard. LEARN THE FRETBOARD STEP BY STEP Note Path is a guided way to learn the fretboard and memorize the fretboard in phases: open strings, the low E string, the A string, string pairs, the full guitar fretboard with natural notes, then sharps and flats. You move on only when your accuracy and speed are ready, so your fretboard memorization comes from real recall. GUITAR NOTE TRAINER MODES • Note Finder – see a note name, find it on the guitar fretboard • Name That Note – see a fret position and name the note in a fast fretboard quiz • Mic Note Trainer – play the note on your real guitar; the microphone confirms the match and can guide you to the target fret • Play Along – play target notes over beat-aligned backing chords for guitar ear training in time Practice on screen with no guitar needed, or with your acoustic or electric guitar. INTERVAL TRAINER Interval Path teaches how two notes relate and how interval shapes look in every direction on the neck. Use Interval Finder for visual fretboard interval practice and the Mic Interval Trainer to play shapes on your guitar. Build from interval basics to triads and chords. SEE YOUR WEAK SPOTS Heatmaps show the fretboard notes you miss or hesitate on. Track accuracy, response pace, recent improvement and a fretboard speed map after every guitar practice session. AI COACH AND SHORT LESSONS Owlfred, your AI coach, reviews your practice and suggests personalized daily fretboard exercises. Bite-sized lessons cover fretboard basics, guitar notes, pitch, tuning, semitones, intervals, shapes and the building blocks of chords. BUILT-IN GUITAR TUNER Auto string detection gets you in tune quickly before mic training and Play Along.
