Al-Ajurumiyyah is the basic book of Arabic grammar or what we often call nahwu science. This book is quite thin but its contents and benefits are enormous. The author is al-Imam ash-Shanhaji. His full name is Abu 'Abdillah Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Daud ash-Shanhaji. Born in Fez, Morocco in 672 H and died in 723 H. It is said that according to Ibn al-Hâj, ash-Shanhâji was born in the year Imam Ibn Malik died.
