How far can you go? The Further is a game about one simple thing — making the next jump. Hold the screen, choose how much power you need, release… and hope you calculated it right. At first it feels simple. But the further you go, the less forgiving the journey becomes. Travel through six very different endless worlds — dark caves, mountain valleys, islands above the clouds, the Moon, a living megapolis and a dangerous volcanic wasteland. Each location changes the feeling of the journey with its own hazards, weather, atmosphere and physics. You can choose between four characters, and each one approaches difficult situations differently. The Samurai has a second jump. Hoshi can glide through the air. The Robot can catch itself after a bad landing with mechanical arms. And the Mage has a magical shield capable of saving him from a fatal mistake. As you play, you can improve your characters — their jump power, lives and unique abilities — and gradually push farther than you could before. Want to play quietly on your own? I want to keep improving the game after release, adding new ideas, locations, mechanics and other things that make the journey more interesting.
