This is an application for raising public awareness about the importance of inclusive education for children with special educational needs. The application was developed as part of the project 'Enhanced Tools For Creating Equal Opportunities In Education For Pupils With Disabilities – ATTEND'. The project aims to equip the Centres for the upbringing and education of students with disabilities in the Republic of Croatia with assistive technology in order to provide high-quality education to students and training to employees for using assistive technology. The project is mostly funded through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area(EEA), and it is implemented by the Croatian Academic and Research Network(CARNET) in collaboration with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing(FER) and the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences(ERF) at the University of Zagreb. The project also benefits from the expertise of partners from Iceland, including the City of Reykjavik(Department of Education and Youth). The application was developed by experts from FER with the assistance of experts from ERF.
