WabiFace Kintsugi Time brings the Japanese art of golden repair to your Wear OS smartwatch. 🏺 KINTSUGI — THE BEAUTY OF REPAIR In kintsugi, a broken vessel is not hidden or discarded. The break is filled with gold lacquer, and the history of the damage becomes the most beautiful part of the object. This watch face puts that idea on your wrist: a deep black urushi dial, cracked from edge to edge, that repairs itself as the day passes. ⏳ ONE DAY, ONE REPAIR At midnight the gold is gone and only the dark fractures remain. Across the next 24 hours the kintsugi is painted back in — one seam at a time, each crack drawn along its length like a brush stroke before the next one begins. By the end of the day the dial is whole again. Then it starts over. ⚙️ OPEN-HEART MOVEMENT An aperture at 7 o'clock opens onto the movement: a skeleton bridge with blued screws and jewelled bearings, framed by a machined bezel, with three brass wheels turning behind it at their own speeds. 🔋 POWER RESERVE Opposite the open heart, a small mechanical gauge reads your battery from E to F, its gold needle swinging with the charge. On by default; turn it off if you like. 🎨 FOUR METALS Choose Antique Gold, Platinum Silver, Rose Gold or Indigo Silver. The metal recolours the kintsugi, the hands, the markers, the bezel and the centre cap. The black lacquer stays black. ✨ ON THE HOUR Once an hour, the golden seams take a single quiet breath of light — about three seconds, then gone. It never blinks or flashes. 🌙 AMBIENT MODE Always-on display gets its own minimal design rather than a dimmed copy: black, hairline hands, four markers and a single thinned seam.
