Garbage Truck Map pulls together today's pickup times and the pickup points near you — when the truck comes, where it is, and how many stops away it is from you. Get a reminder before you head out, so you're never left waiting at the curb. Pickup times work offline, too. ■ Can I throw this out? Point your camera at it Pillows, duvets, old clothes, umbrellas, helmets, pans, power banks — the things nobody is sure about. Photograph it and the app tells you which category it is and which truck takes it, plus what to do first: caps and label rings come off, batteries are handed over separately, broken glass gets wrapped. The answer depends on where you are, because the rules do. Chicken bones are raw food waste in Kaohsiung and general waste in Tainan and New Taipei. You get your county's answer, not a national average. Every scan is saved to your collection, and you can correct it yourself if it gets one wrong. ■ Live garbage truck tracking Available in New Taipei, Taichung, Tainan and Kaohsiung. See the truck's live position, its route, and a countdown to your pickup point. Other cities have pickup time lookup, with live tracking rolling out to more regions. ■ Today's pickup at a glance Open the app and see today's pickup times, the pickup points near you, the next collection day, and how many stops away the truck is. ■ Take-out-the-trash reminders Set reminders for the pickup points you use, once or on a weekly schedule, and get notified before the truck arrives. ■ Home screen widgets Three sizes — 2x2, 4x3 and 4x4 — showing the countdown and general / food waste / recycling categories without opening the app. ■ Search pickup points Type an address or keyword to find pickup times and truck routes instantly, then navigate to the nearest point in one tap. ■ Nearest pickup points Automatically sorted by distance and time, so taking out the trash is always on your way. ■ Dark mode & offline data Light and dark themes, with core pickup point data available offline — handy in basements and areas with poor reception.
