In 2019 alone we helped 2,049 unpaid carers by regularly lending a hand with care to 1,264 loved ones so people who care can have a break and recharge both physically and emotionally. Our main goal is to improve the quality of life of these unpaid carers – that’s anyone who looks after a family member, relative, friend, or neighbour because of a long-term physical or mental ill health or disability."
