PEP has worked with companies such as Wells Fargo Center, Rittenhouse Claridge Apartments, Wal-Mart, Starbuck's, McDonald’s and many others to fill their staffing needs. We provide the necessary supports that help companies access untapped staffing resources such as candidates with disabilities. Our Competitive Integrated Employment Program assists individuals with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment by supporting them throughout the job search. Employment candidates work closely with an Employment Specialist to develop an individualized plan for employment. Employment Plans: The plan starts with identifying a career goal, developing a resume and improving skills to present to prospective employers. Job Development: Using information from the employment play, the Employment Specialist assists the individual with the job search process by exploring the community together to identify possible job matches. The Employment Specialist will assist with the application process by helping to complete job applications and going through the interviewing phase. The Employment Specialist works closely with the potential employer and acts as a trusted resource to ensure a successful match. Employment Supports: The Employment Specialist is available to provide on-site individual supports when a good match occurs. The Employment Specialist works to acclimate both the job candidate and the employer so that both can work together to form a lasting working relationship resulting in long term employment.
