The 10 000 ha Game Reserve is situated east of the N2, in north eastern Zululand bordering eSwatini (Golela/Lavumisa Border Post). We are approximately 485km from Johannesburg and 330km from Durban, and half-way between Durban & Skukuza in the Kruger National Park. The closest major city is Richards Bay, which is 180km south east on the N2 freeway. Find us on Google maps How to get there by Road:The White Elephant gate entrance is situated on the N2 main road. With our entrance being so easy to find, self drive is a very good option. No 4x4 is needed to drive on our roads, however we would discourage the use of low profile cars. Road transfers can be arranged from all airports as well as inter-lodge transfers. The closest commercial airport is Richards bay (200km) and the closest international airport is King Shaka in Durban (350km). How to get there by air: Spend more time on safari and less time travelling by flying to White Elephant. Chartered flights can be arranged and land either on our airstrip or the Mkuze airstrip. Fly-in Guests will be picked up at the airstrip and transferred to the lodge. You are also welcome to fly in with your own plane. Please note a landing fee will be applicable. Kindly contact reservations for more information and indemnity form. *Gate Entrance Fee is R100 per vehicle, payable in CASH at the gate. *VERY IMPORTANT.
