Paired with text-to-speech technology SpellRBoard offers an easy-to-use platform for those in need of an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) solution. My family has been helping him learn to communicate using a letteboard, where he points to each letter, spelling out whatever he wants to say. I realized that I could create a digital version of a letterboard so he could spell independently. I was encouraged to publish the app and refine it, so that it could be accessible to all. SpellRBoard- because everyone has a voice and deserves to be heard.
