Biblio is a personal digital library for iPhone and iPad. It collects your biblions from various sources in one place and lets you read them by sight, by hearing, or by touch. What is a biblion? A biblion is an authored work that you receive as a complete whole. What you used to call an “audiobook”, “e-book”, “podcast episode”, or “audiotext book” is called, in Biblio, “audio biblion”, “text biblion”, or “biblion with synchronization”. Biblio is designed for both sighted and visually impaired readers. All app features are accessible to both groups. VoiceOver users have an additional special gesture mode optimized for fast control without having to focus individual on-screen elements. You can choose any biblion form that suits you (audio, text, synchronization). A sighted user in a car picks the audio form; a visually impaired user with a Braille display picks the text form; anyone can pick synchronization to see and hear the text at the same time. App features: - your own library, into which you add biblions from multiple sources (KTN, NDK, Gutenberg, KDD, Camelot, podcast feeds, your own files) – more sources to be added - a choice of form when reading each biblion (audio / text / synchronization – depending on availability). - machine speech for text biblions (TTS) and machine transcription of audio biblions into text - a personal AI librarian that can search, add, download, and sort biblion and group them into series - synchronization between your devices via iCloud - Apple Watch companion for controlling the player from your wrist - CarPlay for listening in the car - metadata retrieved from the National Digital Library (NDK), Wikidata, and other reference sources SUBSCRIPTION All of Biblio is behind a subscription, including biblions you have already downloaded.
