10月6日的Moon Locator: Track & Compass应用程序分析

Look up. Which way is the moon, how high, and how big is it tonight? MoonNow answers those three questions and nothing else. It is not another moon-phase calendar. It is an instrument that tells you where the moon is in your sky right now, and how large it appears compared with every other night of the year. WHERE IT IS - A sky dome from horizon to zenith, with the moon drawn at its true azimuth and altitude for your location - Hold up your phone and the compass ring guides you to it - Rise, transit and set times, with the compass bearing for each HOW BIG IT IS - Geocentric distance in kilometres and apparent diameter in arcminutes - Tonight's disc drawn against this year's largest and smallest moon, at true relative scale - Where tonight ranks among all the moons of the year MOVE THROUGH TIME - Drag the timeline and watch the moon rise, arc across the sky and set - Its size swells and shrinks smoothly as the distance changes - Jump to the next full moon, or the largest moon of the year WIDGETS - Home screen widgets in three sizes, plus two lock screen widgets - Altitude, bearing, phase and tonight's rise and set times - Each widget can watch a different place ACCURATE - Real lunar surface imagery from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter - Libration and parallactic angle applied, so the moon is turned the way you actually see it from where you are - Positions computed from Meeus, Astronomical Algorithms, chapter 47 - Topocentric parallax and atmospheric refraction included - Verified against JPL Horizons: bearing within 0.004 degrees PRIVATE AND OFFLINE - No account, no network, no ads, no tracking - Location is optional. Enter a place by hand and everything still works - One-time purchase
